Produced film, video, and multimedia projects for this health and medical education company specializing in patient and physician educational programs. Hurd Studios is a division of Grey Healthcare Group.

1998 - 2004
The American Heart Association – Produce/Director
Production of monthly video news release on a current topic in the prevention, treatment or management of cardiovascular disease.  VNRs are distributed to national TV and cable broadcast outlets.

1996 – 2002
HealthWeek – Producer/Director
Production of segments for PBS nationally broadcast TV news magazine program focusing on current medical and health issues.  

1997 - 2000
WebMD –  Audio Producer/Reporter
Produced a daily news segment on just released results of clinical trials, studies or research articles published in major medical journals. Provided coverage from annual medical sessions such as the AHA, ACC, ASCO and APA. 
Produced a series of in-depth interviews with prominent physicians focusing on their life work and their views on current clinical and health care policy issues.


1996 - 1997
Time Life Medical  – Senior Producer
“At Time of Diagnosis” - Series of consumer videotapes, hosted by C. Everett Koop, MD.  Designed to aid patients and their families in the understanding, treatment and management of their disease.
“RxExercise” - Series of four exercise videotapes specifically developed for patients with heart disease, arthritis, back pain and stress and anxiety. Hosted by C.Everett Koop, MD and Ahmad Rashad.


1995
BAM! Software Inc. - Producer/Director
Series profiling contemporary writers for Prentice Hall Publishing Company to be distributed on CD-ROM and laserdiscs.  Produced 18 programs.

1993-1994
Medical News Network -   Senior Producer
Supervised and coordinated production of programs for feature series on health issues broadcast to medical and health professionals. Produced political, clinical and feature stories for daily news program.
Produced special programs with an in depth look at issues that impacted the health fields.

1993
National Audubon Society - Producer/Director
Produced and directed documentary on the Audubon Society's new national headquarters which is an environmental model that sets a new national standard.  Broadcast on WNET/NY.

1990-1992
Lifetime Medical Television - Series Producer
Responsible for the production and coordination of 24 half-hour programs that were broadcast monthly to a national audience.Supervised production staff and coordinated all elements of programming.
Produced and directed 6 specials on current breakthroughs in medicine.

TVG Documentary Arts Project -  Co-Founder
Produced, directed and coordinated programs for public television, educational, and non-profit organizations.
Supervised staff of up to 12 people.
Responsible for all fund raising on independent projects.
Responsible for budgeting and control of grants in excess of one million dollars annually.
Organized distribution of independent programs to targeted audiences.
